Being parents ourselves, we know how difficult it can be to find the right booster seat, so we put this site together to help other parents in the search for the right booster seat. Whether you are looking for a baby booster seat, car booster seat, travel booster seats, you will find suppliers and retailers who will fulfil your need.

If your child is able to sit up unsupported then a booster seat is perfect when you’re travelling. There are is a huge range available on the market and many models are compact and easy to transport.

Booster seats are also less bulky than a high-chair and can be easily attached to a kitchen chair so that your child is able to join you at the table.

Child Car Seats

“Child restraints” refer to baby seats, child seats, booster seats and booster cushions, and using them can greatly reduce injuries to children. It is important to make sure that you purchase seats that are approved to the United Nations ECE Regulation 44.03 or subsequent standards.

The type of seat you buy will depend on your baby's weight and it is important to get the right seat group that is suitable and safe for your child.

The table below shows the different child restraints and their corresponding child weights. As your child gets older, they will need to move to the next restraint.

GROUP WEIGHT RANGE AGE RANGE (APPROX)
Group 0 and 0+ (eg baby seat) Up to 13kgs Birth to 9-12 months
Group 1 (eg child seat) From 9kgs to 18kgs 9 months to 4 years
Group 2 (eg booster seat) From 15kgs and upwards From approx 4 years
Group 3 (eg booster cushion) From 22kgs and upwards From approx 6 years

Baby Seat - This is a rear-facing baby seat and is meant for very young children as it is the safest type of restraint available for them.

Child Seat - This is a separate seat secured either by an adult seat belt, or ISOFix attachment points.

Booster Seat - A booster seat gives a 'boost' to the child so that the child is in the right position and then the adult seat belt is able to restrain both the child and the booster seat.

Booster Cushion - If the child is too large for a child seat or booster seat then a booster cushion will raise him so that the seat belt can be used safely.
